Actress Dakore Egbuson pledges to donate her ‘eyes’ to the blind

Legit.ng came across a post shared by Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, revealing that she intends to have her eyes donated to the blind.

Have you ever thought that you could affect someone else's life positively even after you have gone? Popular Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, has thought about such and has revealed her intentions.

According to the mother of two, she plans to donate the cornea of her eyes to the blind in hopes that the recipient will get the gift of sight.

The star actress revealed this in a post shared on her Instagram page. She said:

“I pledged my cornea to Eye bank of Nigeria, and what that means is when I leave this earth I willingly donate my cornea to help give the gift of sight especially as I would no longer be needing it…

"What are your views on this and becoming a donor in general? I would really appreciate your kind feedback so we can start the conversation…will you be willing to do it for a loved one or a stranger? How do you SEE it? Factors that prevent most people from doing this is fear but of what exactly?"
