Thief beaten up after coming back to spot he robbed earlier
A thief was left at the mercy of an angry mob after he was caught and beaten for stealing a phone somewhere in Anambra state.
A thief was caught and beaten by an angry mob who heard that he had returned after stealing from the same spot, somewhere in Uga road, Idemili, Anambra state.
According to witnesses, the thief had stolen a phone from a mechanic workshop the previous week, and had returned to the same spot where he was recognised by one of the people around.

Narrating the story, an eyewitness identified as Uchenna Muoghalu said:
"The robber (on red t-shirt and necklace) was caught for a phone he stole at that place last week. He pointed two other accomplices. One of them was stabbed in the head and fainted immediately while broken bottles and stones were freely used on the second accused who is a northerner."
