FBI Releases Picture of ‘Person of Interest’ in Charlie Kirk Shooting, Places $100,000 Bounty

  • On Thursday, September 11, the FBI released images of a "person of interest" in the Charlie Kirk shooting, and offered a $100,000 reward for information
  • The killer is still at large - but a high-powered rifle has been found in nearby woods, as well as a "footwear impression... and a forearm imprint"
  • Kirk, an ally of President Trump, was shot at a Utah university - officials say the suspect "appears to be of college age" and fled "into a neighbourhood"

The FBI on Thursday released pictures of a man described as a person of interest in the murder of right-wing youth leader Charlie Kirk.

The images, showing a man in a baseball cap, dark glasses and casual clothing, were posted on the FBI’s X account.

It appealed “for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting.”

As reported by BBC, the FBI said it is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for Kirk's murder.

Meanwhile, the manhunt for the suspect, who is believed to be college-aged, continues, with officials working "around the clock" to locate the individual, officials said during a press conference on Thursday.
