- New sensation Joao Felix scored both goals in the first half of the tie
- Sami Khedira got Juve's only goal as they settled for a 2-1 defeat
Atletico Madrid vs Juventus match ended 2-1 in favour of the La Liga side in the International Champions Cup.
It was a repeat of last season's Champions League quarter finals where the Serie A giants beat the Spanish side 3-2 over two legs.
Atletico's new signing continued his fine pre-season form as he put his side ahead in the 24th minute with a well executed finish courtesy of a perfect-inch cross from Kieran Trippier.
Five minutes later, Sami Khedira put Juve back into the match as he nipped in his shot through the Spanish side's defence to make it 1-1.
But in the 33rd minute, it was Felix again who he timed his run to perfection from a Thomas Partey's long ball, and the Portuguese star hit it first-time to restore Atletico's lead. 2-1 it was.
Diego Simeone's side took a slim lead into the break as they dominated most part of the first half in the warm-up game.
