Prominent Pastor Releases Prophecy on Likely Winner Amid Quest by Kwankwaso, Others to Sack Tinubu

FCT, Abuja - Prophet Godwin Ikuru, founder of the Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 election, despite gains by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Prophet Ikuru condemned the alleged self-serving agenda of certain individuals, describing them as "eye-service people."

Ikuru predicts victory for Tinubu

In a video shared on his Facebook page on Monday, March 30, and sighted by Legit.ng, Ikuru expressed confidence that Tinubu would ultimately win the 2027 presidential election.

Prophet Ikuru further emphasised that, although many believed it would be difficult for Tinubu to win the 2027 election, God consistently reassured him of Tinubu’s success.

His words:

“2027, it will happen. You people doubted us when we were saying it in 2022 and 2023. 2027, those who are eye-service people, God of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will tell una say una no be nothing (sic).”

The cleric, a supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, added:

“I want to say to Mr President. Stay strong, stay courageous, you are going to win 2027.”

Atiku meets Kwankwaso, Mark

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar visited former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and ex-Senate President David Mark at their residences.

He shared the visit in a statement on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, accompanied by photos. Atiku, Kwankwaso, and Mark are all members of the ADC opposition coalition.

According to the Adamawa-born politician, the discussions between them focused on the progress of the ADC and how to ensure good governance in Nigeria as citizens look forward to the 2027 elections.

Atiku wrote:

"I paid a courtesy visit to the residence of my brother and partner, His Excellency Rabiu Kwankwaso, this afternoon.
"We had quality discussions on the progress of our party, the ADC, and how we must continue the work to ensure good governance and recovery are achieved in good time for the people."

In another statement he signed, Atiku said via a Facebook post:

"Also this afternoon, I visited the National Chairman of our great party, ADC, Senator David Mark, at his residence in Abuja. It was a courtesy call that provided an opportunity to share ideas on how to further strengthen the ADC and restore confidence in Nigeria’s democracy."

President Tinubu not ill
