2026 UTME Top Scorer in Ekiti School Scores Over 320 as 6 Other Students Get Over 300, Results Trend

The 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results of the top students of Petoa Schools, Adeo-Ekiti in Ekiti state have been shared online.

Of all the college students who wrote exams organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), seven of them have scored 300 or higher.

On the school’s Facebook page, the results and pictures of the students were shared.

The highest scorer, Ajayi Praise Omohojie, got an impressive score of 322 in the exam, and following closely was Awe Esther Ayomiposi with a score of 311.

In a Facebook post, the school also celebrated its other students who scored over 200 in the recently concluded 2025 UTME.

From the photos shared, 15 students of the school scored between 300 and 240.

The results of the brilliant students of Petoa Schools triggered reactions on Facebook, as social media users took to the comment section to congratulate the 2026 UTME candidates on their academic feat in the recently-concluded examination.

The man shared the scores his daughter got in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, which were the subjects she wrote.

UTME 2026: JAMB sets university cut-off mark

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday, May 11, 2026, retained 150 as the minimum admissible scores, popularly called 'cut-off mark', for admission into universities for the 2026/2027 academic session.

As reported by Channels TV, JAMB announced this during its policy meeting in Abuja, the Nigerian capital city, where it said the decision followed a vote of vice-chancellors present at the meeting.

During JAMB's meeting, heads of tertiary institutions in Nigeria unanimously agreed that the minimum admissible scores for admission into Colleges of Nursing should be 150, while polytechnics should set theirs at 100.
