Identified as @kasydev on TikTok, he documented every single payment made from his initial school application in Nigeria down to his flight.

In the viral video, he revealed that he schools at Dalhousie University and studies a Master's in Applied Computer Science.

The most significant financial hurdles he highlighted were the tuition fees for his four-semester Master’s programme at Dalhousie University and the substantial "Proof of Funds" required for the visa process.

  • Tuition (4 Semesters + Coop): 54,451 CAD (N54.5m)
  • Proof of Funds: 129,749 CAD (N130m)

While sharing his experience, @kasydev noted that his process took place during the 2023/2024 period. He advised those planning to follow his path to recalculate their budgets based on current exchange rates.
