In a TikTok post by @officialdabel, the lady shared why she returned home after getting to the venue.

She said she decided to go back home after seeing the unusual queue, despite her plans for the event.

“Going home because no jollof rice was worth the line. But I am very proud of what Hilda is about to do though.
“I wasn’t going there for just the rice to be honest I actually wanted to create a couple content and to be able to say proudly that I was at a world record breaking event but honestly this line was just waaayyy too long and wasn’t even moving so I gave up.”

How Hilda Baci prepared for jollof rice festival

Hilda Baci earlier announced that the event, which was earlier scheduled to be held at Muri Okunola Park, would now be held at Eko Hotel and Suites.

Weeks ago, Hilda Baci and her crew test-ran the pot she was going to use for her latest kitchen quest.

On Thursday, she announced that the pot arrived at Eko Hotel by 4 am ahead of the record-breaking event.
