Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has transported her large pot to the venue where she will be cooking the largest pot of jollof rice.
She said the pot was moved from Gbagada, where it was fabricated, to the venue of the festival.

Hilda Baci had announced online that she would be attempting to make history for the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.

Hilda Baci earlier announced that the event, which was earlier scheduled to hold at Muri Okunola Park, would now take place at Eko Hotel and Suites.
She opened up about how many people registered for the event and the reason for the venue change.
The event will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 9 am, with participants expected to get free registration and meals.

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, she announced that the pot arrived at Eko Hotel by 4 am ahead of the record-breaking event on her TikTok page.
She captioned the video:
“At 4am this morning, our pot safely arrived Eko hotel. God is good. At 4am this morning our pot was safely moved from gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko hotel where the event will be taking place I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24hrs.”
