A tragic incident happened in Lagos when a young interior designer, Deborah Moses, also known as Deb’rah Porsche, lost her life.

The suspect, identified as Lintex Ogale from Otukpo, Benue state, was accused of perpetrating the act nearly two years after the couple's relationship ended.

Old tweet of Lintex resurfaces

According to Meddy Olutu Imanoel, a close family friend who shared details of the incident, Lintex allegedly gained access to Deborah's estate by disguising himself as a dispatch rider, Premium Times reports.

When security personnel became suspicious, he reportedly scaled the fence to enter the compound.

Upon reaching Deborah's apartment, he attempted to sabotage the gas pipeline outside her home, allegedly in a bid to trigger an explosion.

When this plan failed, he reportedly broke into her residence and stabbed her multiple times, leading to her death.

"He first cut her gas pipe, hoping the house would explode. When that failed, he forced his way in with a knife and stabbed her multiple times," Mr Imanoel stated, recounting the horrific event.

Neighbours, alerted by Deborah's screams, allegedly rushed to her aid and handed the suspect over to the police.

Deborah's family said that she had ended the relationship over a year ago due to alleged domestic violence and persistent harassment.

Following his arrest, an old tweet of the suspect where he said "Na who know person go kill am normal" began trending online.

The suspect, identified as Ogbonna, killed his former girlfriend at his residence when she visited to inform him about her forthcoming marriage ceremony.
