The lady, known on X as @semilore_tk, shared a screenshot of the chat, where she had informed her father that she was nearing the end of her academic journey.

She had told him:

"Tomorrow is my last exam."

Her father's response was unexpected, yet hilarious as he expressed joy that he would subsequently spend his money alone.

He replied:

"Thank God o. I can now spend my money alone."

The lady, who was taken aback by her father's comment, sent a follow-up message, "as how", and subsequently video called him for about 6 minutes.
