Tinubu speaks on Buhari's legacy
Meanwhile, Tinubu recently disclosed that his immediate predecessor, late President Muhammadu Buhari, did not just leave a legacy behind, but left a political structure.
The president made the comment while playing host to the political leaders from Katsina, which is Buhari's state, at the presidential villa in Abuja on Tuesday, September 2. The delegation was led by Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina.
The delegation has visited President Tinubu over the recent bandit attacks in the state. Earlier in August, some gunmen attacked a mosque and killed several muslim worshippers. The incident has been described as a "reprisal attack".
Official report from the police said 17 people died in the attack, while the locals maintained that those who were shot dead by the assailants was higher. The mosque was located in a village, Unguwan Mantau, because the villagers were said to have ambushed and killed some bandits two days before, according to an official from the state government, Nasir Muazu.
