The event highlighted Amb. Folasade's extensive philanthropic efforts, primarily through her FOF Foundation and the impactful "Feeding for All" initiative. Launched in September 2023, "Feeding for All" has been instrumental in combating hunger through food banks and mentorship programs.

Her work extends beyond mere donations; it embodies a holistic approach to community empowerment, addressing both immediate needs and long-term sustainability.

In her acceptance speech, Amb. Folasade shared a deeply personal perspective: "Being the Philanthropist of the Year... From hunger to hardship, I’ve seen it all. That pain made me compassionate, not cold. Even when good is repaid with betrayal, I won’t stop. Helping others is my purpose, not a performance." Her words resonated deeply with the audience, underscoring her authentic dedication and resilience. She dedicated the award to "every silent fighter" like herself, emphasizing that her journey is a testament to unwavering compassion and a relentless pursuit of making a difference.

Amb. Folasade Agbeluyi’s journey began with the establishment of PoshGlow Skincare in October 2017. As a certified beautician from the London Academy of Beauty, she identified a gap in the Nigerian market for 100% natural, organic skincare solutions. PoshGlow has since become a trusted brand, empowering individuals to embrace their natural beauty with confidence. The brand’s impact extends beyond aesthetics, addressing common skin issues and fostering self-esteem among its users.

Looking ahead, Amb. Folasade plans to expand the FOF Foundation’s reach with the FOF 2025 Initiative, which aims to provide vocational training for 1,000 youths and distribute 500 food boxes to widows and the needy. Additionally, she envisions scaling PoshGlow nationwide, continuing her mission to empower radiant skin and transform lives.

The Golden Stars Award not only celebrates Amb. Folasade Agbeluyi's past achievements but also shines a light on her ongoing commitment to philanthropy and community development. Her story is an inspiring reminder that true success lies in using one's resources and influence to uplift others, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
