Popular content creator and streamer Carter Efe may have found himself on the wrong side of the law after he posed as a staff member of a local television station, TVC, at a police checkpoint.
The viral clip, reshared by TVC during one of its programmes, showed the moment Carter Efe presented himself as a staff member of TVC News during a stop-and-search at a police checkpoint.

The streamer's action in the video appeared to be an attempt to bypass the standard stop-and-search procedures.
Reacting, some TVC presenters, while analysing the video, criticised Carter's actions and called for the television station to sue him.
The presenters also highlighted how Carter's action was a risk to legitimate journalists' access and trust with security forces.
