UNILAG Gives Fresh Update After Conducting 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

Akoka, Lagos state – The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has concluded the 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening assessment.

No fewer than 20,464 candidates participated in the UNILAG Post-UTME online screening exercise from Monday, September 1, to Thursday, 4, 2025.

The federal university said some candidates engaged in various forms of malpractice and would be rendered ineligible for admission.

This was contained in a statement issued via the university’s X handle @UnilagNigeria on Friday, September 5, 2025.

UNILAG reiterated its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the integrity of its admissions process.

“Regrettably, some candidates engaged in various forms of malpractice, contrary to the guidelines governing the examination. In line with the University’s zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice, such candidates will, based on the outcome of our ongoing investigations and reviews, be rendered ineligible for admission.

“Our official communication channels, as earlier indicated in the various instructions to candidates, remain open. For the avoidance of doubt, however, the University is in possession of verifiable evidence of infractions.”

UNILAG claim to be a university of first choice, but I bet you this is first http://rubbish.You can’t conduct a perfect post utme without providing centers and enabling environment just as jamb as done, others like Unilorin provided centers and places that meets specific…..

Pls rewatch my videos oo, I didn't engage in any form of malpractice...,
After 3 years of trying, this year that I now had the best UTME score out of all my utmes now an email is coming to jeopardize all efforts made, pls let's do the needful.

UNILAG cut-off marks for 2025/2026 admission guide

Recall that UNILAG released cut-off marks for 2024/2025 for all programmes. The minimum JAMB score for all UNILAG courses is 200.

UNILAG cut-off mark for Medicine and Surgery is 82.125. UNILAG cut-off marks for Engineering rangers between 82.125.3 (Computer Engineering) to 56.925 (Petroleum and Gas Engineering).

The Lagos-based federal government university closed admissions for the 2024/2025 on 6 January 2026.

University of Lagos changes colours of 19 faculties

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the University of Lagos (UNILAG) unveiled official colours for its newly expanded faculties, marking a bold step in academic identity and institutional pride.

With the transition from twelve to nineteen faculties, each now carries a distinct colour that reflects its values and legacy.
