Nigeria’s tax and revenue landscape is undergoing a significant shift as regulators introduce new compliance frameworks and digital systems aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability.

As these changes reshape how businesses manage tax reporting and financial documentation, organisations must begin preparing for the implications of a more digitised compliance environment. These conversations will take centre stage at the upcoming Nigeria Revenue Summit 2.0, hosted by Interswitch Group in partnership with the Nigeria Revenue Service.

Designed as a strategic forum for C-suite executives, finance leaders, tax professionals, and policymakers, the summit will convene key stakeholders navigating Nigeria’s evolving revenue ecosystem. Through expert-led discussions and practical insights, the platform will provide clarity on emerging regulatory policies while fostering dialogue and collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Ahead of the physical sessions, the summit will kick off with a pre-summit webinar scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The virtual session will provide an early look at the emerging e-Invoicing mandate and how digital tools can support businesses in aligning with new compliance expectations.

The webinar will feature insights from Osasere Atohengbe, Vice President, Sales and Account Management at Interswitch, and Titilayo Akinseye, Divisional Head, Tax Management at Interswitch. Drawing on their experience across financial technology and tax management systems, both speakers will unpack the fundamentals of digital invoicing, the policy direction behind the new mandate, and practical steps organisations can take to prepare their finance and reporting processes.

Business leaders, finance professionals, and tax managers interested in joining the session can register at https://campaigns.interswitchgroup.com/nrs-webinar

Following the webinar, the conversation will continue with the summit’s physical events under the theme “Winning in Nigeria’s New Tax Landscape: Navigating Reform. Ensuring Compliance. Unlocking Growth.” The theme reflects the growing need for businesses to not only understand regulatory reforms but also to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and long-term growth within the new framework.

The first in-person session will take place in Lagos on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, bringing together executives and financial decision-makers from across Nigeria’s commercial hub. Participants will explore how organisations can strengthen financial operations while responding to evolving tax policies and digital reporting requirements.

The summit will then move to Abuja on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Wells Carlton Hotel, where stakeholders from government institutions, the private sector, and the technology ecosystem will continue the conversation. The Abuja session will provide further opportunities for participants to engage with industry experts, exchange perspectives on revenue reforms, and examine how technology can support more efficient tax administration. As Nigeria advances toward a more transparent and digitally driven revenue ecosystem, the Nigeria Revenue Summit 2.0, through the webinar and the Lagos and Abuja summit sessions, aims to equip organisations with the insights, connections, and practical understanding needed to navigate the country’s evolving tax landscape and position themselves for sustainable growth.
