According to UBS’s Global Wealth, the following are the world's richest countries in 2025.

1. United States

Total Wealth: $163,117 Billion

The U.S. tops the list, home to landmarks like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Route 66. Its cities reflect both diversity and energy, from New York’s bustling streets to New Orleans’ jazz-filled nights, and the dramatic West Coast with its redwoods and cliffs.

Total Wealth: $91,082 Billion

Richest countries in Africa

In related news, Legit.ng earlier reported that the International Monetary Fund's World Economic Outlook has provided a list of the top 10 richest countries in Africa.

In the list, Nigeria, Africa's largest economy, was omitted, while the IMF included Libya and Mauritius, among others.

The latest list measures the highest GDP per capita, that is, the amount of goods and services produced by a citizen in a given period.
