Fire Destroys University Of Nigeria Building In Nsukka

The old Students’ Affairs Unit of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) was set on fire on Monday.

It was learnt the fire started at about 10:35pm On Monday, 14 April.

The fire affected the old Students’ Affairs Unit building which was earlier dismantled for reconstruction.

No fatalities were reported. It's supposed to be a faulty electrical wiring that caused fire.

The incident was also confirmed by Enugu State Police Command.

According to the command’s public relations officer in Enugu, Ebere Amaraizu, the command has commenced investigation into the case.
