Huang Chiu jumped to his death, taking his 4-year-old son with him

China - A father jumped to his death, taking his four-year-old son with him. He was apparently frustrated by arguments with his wife over how they should look after the boy.

Mr. Huang Chiu, a resident of Fuzhou in Fujian province in southeast China, reportedly said he was going to end the matter once and for all, then grabbed his son, ran to the roof of the seven-storey building and leaped off.

Both the father and child died instantly.

Apparently, the wife Shi Yu, 29, a successful career woman, did not look properly after the little boy when he was ill, as she was at work, so she wanted her husband, who had a less high-powered job, to take care of him.

But Huang, 33, said he wanted her parents to look after the child.

The couple failed to agree over the matter. After arguing for a week, the man killed himself and their son.
