The Director-General Of The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Osganisation, Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that Nigerians are tired of incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan and ruling Peoples Democratic Party management.
Amaechi said that Nigerians need change and confirmed that Buhari would force change on corrupt residents, instill discipline and uprightness in Nigerians, particularly the corrupt public officials, if he elected in the forthcoming presidential poll.
While speaking at the Government House, Port Harcourt, when he sworn in nine permanent secretaries, Amaechi said corruption would vanish in Nigeria, particularly in government’s ministries, if Buhari is won election.
Rivers State Governor said: “We were sharing some discussions in the bus, in the cause of our campaigns. The President (Jonathan) and the PDP never knew that there will be a time like this in Nigeria, when Nigerians will be asking for change, not because of APC or Amaechi, but because they are tired of what is going on. No matter the lies you tell, Nigerians just want change.
“Any type of change, they want it. It could be change for the better. It could be change even for the worse, but they certainly want change.”
Amaechi then praised the new permanent secretaries and wished them well.
They are – Amieyefori Joseph, Marcus Anga, Samuel Egbe, Dagogo Heart, Mrs. A. E. Petito, Augustine Orlu Orlu, Sam Woka, Kingsley Hart and Mrs. Ibaniba Abella Briggs.
It should be noted that Amaechi is being exchanging accusations with President Jonathan for a long time.
Earlier today, he has supposed that the ruling party paid some Christian leaders with N6bn to campaign against Gen. Muhammadu Buhari the presidential candidate from APC.
