Kannywood Actors Remanded Over Mischief

The police prosecutor told the court that on December 11, 2012, one Alhaji Hamisu of Na’ibawa quarters reported to the police that on the same date the actress alongside Ado Nura, Musa Uba, Girema Moh’d, Nura Mado and Umar Yakubu, engaged in a physical combat at the hotel they are staying in, and that in the process, they broke a glass window which is valued at N5000.

All the accused persons pleaded guilty to the charges and the prosecutor applied for summary trial as provided under Section 157 of the Criminal Code Procedure.

The judge, Faruk Muhammad, granted the application and adjourned the matter to December 24, 2012.
