A woman was treated to a pleasant surprise by a stranger she ran into at a supermarket.

It was said that the woman was at the place to get small-sized maize for her two kids when she met the kind-hearted man.

In a Facebook video shared by BI Phakathi, the man told the woman to take anything of her choice at the store and went on to pay for all the purchases she made.

He rounded off the kind act by offering some cash to the stunned woman to get any other thing she wishes for the kids.

Social media users hail the man's kind gesture

Tashi Norbu La stated:

Stranger buys foodstuffs for woman and kid who didn't have meal for the night

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a man had bought foodstuffs for a woman after he overheard her tell the daughter that there was nothing to eat that night.

Understanding Compassion reported that the man was in the shop when a little girl asked her mother what is wrong when she saw her mother’s eyes heavy with tears.

In response and with an emotion-laden voice, the mother told the girl that they cannot afford to eat that night.

The young man said it is interesting to note that it would be the first time he would be shopping there, saying that it must have been divine timing.
