According to the report on Sportsbible, Real Madrid chiefs have talked to their players for their weekly salaries to be cut down, but Sergio Ramos is said to have told them their plans.

An unnamed player at Real Madrid is also said to have told the club's chiefs what Sergio Ramos told his teammates which could cause serious mutiny.

The news comes after it was claimed that Madrid are continuing to make cuts in an attempt to manage the financial difficulties brought about by COVID-19.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester City are considering offering Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos two year deal this summer.

The veteran Spanish defender will become a free agent by the time his current deal with Los Blancos expires this month.

He however looks ready to leave the Santiago Bernabeu after failing to reach a reasonable agreement with the Spanish League giants.

Meanwhile, sources close to Pep Guardiola claim the former Barcelona boss is looking for an experienced leader, with Ramos fitting the bill of what the manager wants.

The Citizens reached their first-ever Champions League final this recently concluded season but failed to lift the title after losing 1-0 to Chelsea in Portugal.
