Black women across the world are pursuing careers in fields that were once considered to be male-dominated areas, and Twitter user, @_laurynalexis is a glittering example.

She has joined the list of women shattering limitations in STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Celebrating her recent academic milestone, @_laurynalexis took to Twitter to announce that she has graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction, adding that she completed her four-year programme without any debt.

'To my parents, know you are taken care of forever and after. It is truly a blessing to graduate in four years 'Cam Laude' with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, did I mention debt-free. Thank you God... this journey has truly been a blessing beyond words."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @NedumN has come to Twitter to share his success story, revealing how far he has come.

Quoting a tweet he made in 2016 that said he got admitted into Nottingham Medical School in the UK, the 23-year-old said in five years, he got himself two degrees.

As if that was not enough, the man said he started big businesses of six figures during the duration. The young Nigerian appreciated God for all the blessings he has enjoyed.

In other similar news, young Nigerian lady, Ofure Ebhomielen, once broke a big record at the University of Ibadan as the first female student to maintain a 7.0 CGPA throughout her course of study in the institution.

In an interview with Legit TV, Ofure revealed that she was the fourth person generally to have such a feat. After her big achievement, Ofure got a scholarship to Standford University for her masters.
