- Rapper Saweetie went on Twitter to announce she was single and added that she had put up with a lot of disrespect from her lover Quavo
- The celebrity then added that she had emotionally checked out of their union months before calling it quits
- Hours after, rumour had it that Quavo sent over a repo guy to Saweetie's place and took back the Bentley he bought her
- It has emerged that the rumours are untrue
Moments after US rappers Quavo and Saweetie called it quits, word had it that the latter had to give up a Bentley she received as a gift.
Reports claimed Quavo repossessed the mean machine stating that he was taking back his “investment.”
But, it is all false.
People on the internet who followed the breakup since Saweetie’s unexpected tweet claimed Quavo translated her message as “take Bentley” instead of “Take care.”
A chain of reactions ensued from the rumour and a large section of internet users said that they too would get petty if their partners left them.
The sources further confirmed that there is no proof to show that the allegations are even close to being true.
They dared people spewing the lies to show photos or videos that support the claims.
Saweetie earlier alluded to the fact that Quavo might have stepped out of their relationship.
The Back to The Streets hitmaker posted on Twitter saying she was done being disrespected and had checked out of the relationship months before calling it quits.
She boldly declared she is single.
“I had love for you and I am disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best,” Quavo responded.
In a similar story, Legit.ng reported that singer Davido's brother, Adewale Adeleke, on social media shared his thoughts about people who take back gifts from those they are no longer on good terms with.
His post comes amidst the social media buzz surrounding American rap couple, Quavo and Saweetie.
