Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo expressed excitement with Arsenal's 2-1 win over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium.

A goal each from Martin Odegaard and Alexandre Lacazette ensured Eric Lamela's opening strike ended up a mere consolation in the end.

Although Mikel Arteta's men remain 10th on the table with 41 points, the former Super Eagles captain was excited with the bragging rights over their city rivals.

Kanu shared a picture of himself and his better half celebrating the victory with a few choreographed steps.

At the start of the video, both of them were dressed in an all-black outfit but transitioned to Arsenal's home jersey while they cuddle themselves at the end of the video.

In spite of their struggles in the EPL, they have been superb in the Europa League - winning eight and drawing just one in their last nine games on the continent this term.

Winning the European title will down memory lane for the North Londoners who have never won any UEFA organised silverware.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian legend won two Premier League titles during his reign at the Emirates Stadium.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool and Arsenal's poor form in the Premier League could affect their chances of playing in Europe next season, according to the supercomputer.

The Reds have lost six of their last seven Premier League games while Arsenal have only won two of their last seven matches.
