Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi was in action during Everton’s 1-0 victory over Southampton in the Premier League on February 1.

Richarlison scored the only goal of the game when he tucked home as early as the 9th minute in a mouth-watering fixture at the Goodison Park.

Michael Keane failed to make it two-nil in the 26th minute when he missed a penalty kick to complement his side’s early attack.

Nigeria’s Iwobi was introduced in the 87th minute of the encounter and despite playing a few minutes, he stole the stats.

The former Arsenal star completed more take-ons than any other Everton player in the game. He completed 11 incredible touches, with two key passes.

Iwobi also won 2 aerial duels during the fixture to ensure his side protect the lead until the end; as Everton claim all three points.

And in Italy, William D’Avila, the agent of Super Eagles’ forward Victor Osimhen, has disclosed that one of the major aims of the striker is to ensure Napoli qualify for the Champions League.

The 22-year-old who missed the club’s last two matches due to injury is reportedly eager to return to action as Napoli take on Sassuolo on Wednesday, February 3.

He suffered a head injury during their defeat to Atalanta in the Serie A last week and only managed to train on Saturday.

The forward has scored twice in 16 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.
