Panic as house of Premier League manager burgled by masked gang

- Carlo Ancelotti house has been burgled by suspected masked gang in his Merseyside home

- The Everton manager was not present but his daughter Katia discovered the burglars

- It is understood that burglars carted away with a safe and the police have appealed for useful information

Carlo Ancelotti's house at the Merseyside was burgled by robbers and carted away with a safe, Daily Mail.

The Everton boss was not at home during the incident occurred but his 36-year-old daughter Katia saw the burglars and raised an alarm.

The Police were called around 6:35pm and the men involved in the were understood to be wearing black waterproof clothing and black balaclavas.

"We are appealing for information after a safe was stolen in a burglary in Crosby on Friday evening (12 February).
"We were called at 6.35pm to a report two males had entered a property on Hall Road East at around 6.30pm.
"The offenders were described as wearing black waterproof clothing, possibly with white writing on, and black balaclavas.
"The occupants of the house were unharmed."
