Actress Moyo Lawal in tears after she received almost N500k electricity bill

Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has taken to her official Instagram page to lament about the outrageous electricity bill that she recently received from the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).

The actress revealed that she received the bill on Thursday, February 11, and it disoriented her.

Moyo noted that she got an estimated bill of almost N500k, adding that she does not have a factory in her house.

The film star then shared her decision on the matter. According to her, she would tell PHCN officials to disconnect her from getting electricity.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Lilian Esoro also revealed that she received an electricity bill of over N700k.

The mother of one expressed confusion over the electricity bill she received from PHCN.

In the photo of the bill that she shared online, the actress was billed with over half a million naira - N790,321 to be precise.

According to details on the bill, the actress was charged N345,3555 for energy, N419,064 for net arrears and N25,901 for VAT which summed up to the amount given.

Noting that she does not understand the bill, the actress asked if she is running a factory.
