Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, has taken to social media to preach about the importance of being truthful at all times.

In a recent Instagram post, the film icon advised her fans and followers against lying. She who noted that it is hard to stand for the truth but lying is expensive.

In her words:

"How is your weekend going. Try as much as is humanly possible not to lie about anything. The lie usually comes back to bite you. It's hard at times to stand under the weight of the truth.... but the lie is insanely expensive. Enjoy your weekend. You deserve it."
