US celebrities continue partying amid COVID-19 pandemic

- Many celebrities across the world were cautious of the coronavirus and earlier warned their fans against it as they advised them to observe COVID-19 safety guidelines

- Some of the celebrities forgot about the pandemic recently and hit the streets to party for Christmas and New Year, flouting the COVID-19 guidelines while at it

When the world first confirmed coronavirus was a global pandemic, many government came up with various measures to curb the spread of the virus amongst its citizens.

From the 1.5 meter social distance rule, to sanitising to the barring of public events and gatherings.

The guidelines were taken serious by many people including various world-acclaimed celebrities who used their different social media platforms to sensitise their fans about the same.

However, the infection curve leveled in different countries and that marks the beginning of carelessness from many people with celebrities not being an exception.

Legit.ng has learnt a number of American celebrities were recently put on the spot after they were caught partying amid the pandemic and not even observing the COVID-19 guidelines.

Many of them seem to have taken a break from the pandemic to party themselves silly for Christmas and New Year celebrations.

According to Page Six, world celebrities such as Chris Brown and Tyga were spotted partying outdoors at Komodo in Miami.

Well, the two were later joined by Marshmello, Busta Rhymes, the Stallone sisters and Sofia who partied like there was no coronavirus or tomorrow.

While some US celebrities flouted the COVID-19 restriction just to party, others such as P Diddy were on a roll with their philanthropic side.

Legit.ng earlier reported how the music mogul through his foundation Sean Combs Foundation gave a grant to help over 175 families in a Miami neighbourhood to pay rent during the crisis.

Diddy on Tuesday, December 29, while at an event dubbed House of Wings announced his foundation will be giving a grant to a local organisation that will help 175 families in the area to pay rent during the pandemic.

He also donated much-needed essentials including personal hygiene products.
