Award-winning artiste Davido has expressed displeasure over Desmond Elliot's statement on how Nigerians make use of social media.
Recall that the Nollywood actor cum politician made a contribution during a plenary session at the Lagos House of Assembly where he stated that Nigerian youths make use of social media to promote hate speech.
Nigerians reacted to the speech and accused the Lagos lawmaker of supporting an anti-social media bill.
A video has emerged of Elliot saying there will be no Nigeria in the next 5 years if the hate speech continues.
In reaction to the video, Davido said Elliot has destroyed all the precious childhood memories he gave his fans in movies.

Legit.ng previously reported that with the ugly turn out of events following the Lekki toll gate shooting, different developments and narratives sprang up.
One of such was Lagos lawmaker and Nollywood star, Desmond Elliot, who was alleged to be pushing for a bill to censor social media speech and also reportedly blamed the Lekki shooting on social media influencers and celebrities.
Though he has since come out to debunk the allegations.
Several Nigerians on social media refused to accept Desmond's explanation and one of the bunch was popular artiste, Davido.
