Group of old women participate in Jerusalema Challenge

- A group of elderly ladies from an old age home in Mpumalanga have joined in on the Jerusalema dance challenge

- A video of them dancing was uploaded to Facebook by Seswai Allisto Ratlhogo and has gained over 40 000 views

The Jerusalema dance challenge is still making waves around the world and within the country. A group of elderly women (all above 60 years old) from an old age home have also joined in on the challenge.

Seswai Allisto Ratlhogo uploaded a video of the woman from Pankop village, which is based in Mpumalanga, to Facebook. Seswai's video of the ladies dressed in pink gained over 40 000 views on the social networking site.

South African Facebook users took to the comments section to share their love and pride for the gogos.

The song has not only reached every nook and cranny in South Africa, but it has also made waves abroad. A group of elderly ladies recently were also captured doing the famous dance challenge.

In the one-minute-long clip that was uploaded on to Facebook by Lynette Seyffert, the old women from Huis Hervs old age home can be seen doing their very best to get the steps right to the popular challenge.

While it is clear that the women are experiencing a little difficulty to remember all the moves, it is pretty evident from the heartwarming clip that the entire dance was a very enjoyable experience for the ladies.
