The Nigerian entertainment industry has lost a number of talented individuals to the cold hands of death. In order to prevent that from happening again, a number of celebrities have been encouraged to speak up about their plight so as to get help from kind-hearted individuals.

It appears another veteran actor is in dire need of help from Nigerians seeing as he is in a sorry state.

A Facebook user identified as Yinka Akanbi, recently took to the social networking site to draw fans' attention to the state of veteran actor, writer and director, Yinka Ogundaisi.

Akanbi revealed that Ogundaisi is in great need of financial assistance to enable him stand up and walk again.

Yinka Akanbi wrote: “Yinka Ogundaisi needs our financial assistance to be able to stand up and walk again.

Yinka Ogundaisi is an actor, writer and director of films and TV programmes. He was the next actor to play the legendary Sango in 'Oba Koso' after late Chief Duro Ladipo.

He resuscitated and repackaged the longest-running Yoruba TV programme, 'FEYIKOGBON.' A member of cast of 'The Village Headmaster,' he also authored a crime fiction titled 'The Charmed Lock.'

In other news, Legit.ng reported on the death of the wife of popular pastor, Ibidunni Ighodalo, who is said to have died after a cardiac arrest.

The former beauty queen and event planner was buried on Saturday, June 20, 2020. She passed on at the young age of 39.
