It was gathered that Tottenham players Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko earlier broke the coronavirus lockdown rules a fortnight before club manager Jose Mourinho was blasted for doing the same.

Aurier had posted a video of himself having a mask on while training with his Spurs’ team-mate Sissoko before he quickly deleted it.

"Work with my bro," the Ivorian captioned the post in French.

The club spokesman has however stated that the pair would be punished as the team will do everything to adhere to guidelines as advised by front line health workers.

“We shall be speaking to both players involved,” he said.

Both player have however apologised: "We wish to apologise for not setting the right example here," they said.

Recall that Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho was also caught with three other team players on Tuesday, April 7, as they train at the Hadley Common in London.

The tactician faced a police warning for failing to adhere to the lockdown guidelines observed across the UK as pictures of the tactician having drills surfaced online.

After two videos of Spurs players ignoring the lockdown advice, the club had issued a statement warning all players not to shun social distancing guidelines and were advised to stay at least 6ft apart.

The manager later tendered an apology for breaking the coronavirus lockdown rules and went on to train three of his players in London park.

“All of our players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors. We shall continue to reinforce this message,” the club spokesman said.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United star Paul Pogba seems to be enjoying the lockdown with his family after he was seen to nutmeg his mother in his latest post on Instagram.

Pogba who is recuperating from a nagging injury since January hopes to be back in action as soon as the suspended Premier League resumes.

In the video, the 27-year-old who has severally posted pictures of his mother attempted to tease her with the ball before rolling it between her legs – and what a nutmeg was that.

"When your mom tells you she played football before,” Pogba captioned the post.

“Love and spend time with your parents before they leave this world; no mercy #sonvsmum,” he added.
