COVID-19: Nigerian man laments, says people with visa have implicated those without visa
- A Nigerian man has blamed those that returned from overseas and refused to isolate themselves for the coronavirus pandemic in the country
- He lamented that Nigerians that did not step out of the country will die because of those that returned from overseas
- According to him, those without visa will die because of those with visa
As the coronavirus pandemic continues, a Nigerian man has taken to social media to express displeasure that those that returned from overseas refused to self-isolate and put others at risk of contracting the disease.
The man identified as @Dehkunle on Twitter said those who do not have visa will end up dying because people with visa failed to do the right thing by isolating themselves when they returned to Nigeria.
He tweeted: “When you come back from a foreign country, self isolate, they won’t listen. Now people wey Dem no give visa go d!e because people wey dem give visa no get sense."

In other news, Instagram comedian Sydney Talker has criticised the healthcare system in the country over alleged inability of health workers to attend to him after showing symptoms of coronavirus.

He said when he was down with some symptoms and reached out to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), they turned him down
He tweeted: "A week ago, I came down with some symptoms similar to that of COVID-19. I tried the @NCDCgov hotlines several times for about 2 days before I got a response stating that since I have not started showing ALL signs & symptoms plus I have no recent international travel history or contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient I wouldn’t be attended to."
Sydney later took to Instagram to post a videos of his experience, saying he is scared for the loved ones around him.
