Jordan Henderson has handed Liverpool a huge boost ahead of their Champions League second leg round of 16 clash against Atletico Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday, March 11.

The 29-year-old midfielder has been out of action for the Reds since he suffered a hamstring injury in the first leg of their knockout phase encounter.

He, however, returned to first-team training earlier this week to brighten his chances of helping his side progress to the quarterfinal of the competition.
