Meet 105-year-old man and 96-year-old wife who have been married for 79 years

A black couple identified as A.J. and Lillie Reeves from Virginia who are 105 and 96 respectively, have celebrated 79 years of a happy marriage.

According to a video sighted by Legit.ng on Wsls.com, the love-couple has been recently recognized in the US House of Representatives Congressional record as the 2019 Virginia winners of the worldwide marriage's longest married couple project.

Reports indicate that A.J. and Lillie Reeves come from Truevine where they have lived their entire married life.

The brilliant couple's granddaughter, Valerie LeGrand, spoke in an interview where she indicated that the love life of her grandparents has been a great impact on their lives.

According to Valerie, their family is very grateful for the many years they have had with them. The young lady also indicates that the family is looking forward to celebrating 80 years of marriage next year.

In an interview with the media where the couple shared their love story, the woman said wanting to marry a Catholic made her wait that long.

Nwobi said that only Anglican men were approaching her until Okeke came along. She added that even in her old age, she never had doubts about getting married.
