Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that a Nigerian pastor Apostle Chris Omashola claimed that popular singer Azeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley, is a devil. According to him, Marley's songs are demonically inspired to destroy the destiny of the Nigerian youth.
The apostle also advised Nigerians to desist from calling themselves Marlians, the name used to identify Marley's fans. Omashola made the claims in his 2020 prophecy, he added that Marley needs to repent before it is too late. According to the apostle, God told him that Naira Marley is satanic.
Marlians were furious with the apostle and they called the pastor over his claims. They reminded him that he was once involved in a scandal.
Marley continues to spark mixed reactions from different Nigerians ever since he became popular. The singer's music and personality spark both positive and negative reactions from Nigerians.
