On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, Nollywood suffered the loss of actress Aisha Abimbola, popularly known as Omoge Campus. The news of the sudden death broke the heart of many Nigerians, especially colleagues in the industry.

The actress left two kids behind and her best friend and colleague, Lola Alao, started to take care of them. She was able to do this after taking the late actress’ husband to court and winning custody of the kids.

In a new development, unconfirmed reports on social media shared by an anonymous controversial blog claimed that Alao maltreats Aisha Abimbola’s children and only takes care of hers.

This has led to people reacting on social media including actress, Iyabo Ojo. Iyabo said that the kids are well taken care of as she called out Gistlover for being a malicious blog on her Instagram live video.

During the live video session, Aisha’s son, Lase, came online to dispel the rumours that he and his sister are being maltreated by their guardian.

He said: “I am fine ma…Mummy bought me a phone…ma, can I talk to all the people talking bad about my mummy cos it is not true….”
