Royalty is a very important thing in many African countries, particularly in Nigeria as powerful kings are sometimes seen as an extension of the gods on earth.

In the past, kings were very well feared and perhaps unapproachable as people dared not cross their boundaries with them. However, things are a little bit different these days, thanks to enlightenment.

One of the top class kings in the country, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, is undoubtedly a man of the people as he mixes freely with his subjects and also tries to raise awareness for their cause.
