Reigning Spanish champions Barcelona on Wednesday night, December 18, were forced to a goalless draw by visiting Real Madrid in first El Clasico of the season.
Barcelona were even lucky to escape a defeat in this tie after Gareth Bale's goal was ruled offside, but despite that, the Catalans are still topping Spanish La Liga standings.
But the result against Real Madrid did not go well with some Barcelona fans who have therefore called for the sack of manager Ernesto Valverde.
The fans are livid and are of the thoughts that Ernesto Valverde is no longer qualified to be handling Barcelona despite winning the La Liga title last season.
"Look at our coach. Lol. Your players can’t even run. They were scattered and out of position hoping for a miracle,''.
"It’s time for a new coach. We appreciate Valverde but let’s try someone else. It’s time for him to walk away peacefully,''.
"Current mood. Valverde tactics put me to sleep," tweeted one supporter after the 0-0 draw according to Daily Star UK.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona star Nelson Semedo had his house burgled on Wednesday night, December 18, before his side's El Clasico clash against Real Madrid.
While he was with his teammates making preparation to face Real Madrid at the Nou Camp, his house was burgled in which watches and jewelries were stolen.
