German champions Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, December 11, completed their Champions League group stages' campaign with an impressive 3-1 win over Tottenham.

Bayern Munich however finished as leaders in Group B with maximum 18 points after winning all their games and conceded five goals.

Before facing Tottenham in this encounter, both teams have already qualified for the knock out stages.

The hosts started the game impressively and it took them only 14th minute before scoring the first goal through Kingsley Coman who was assisted by Serge Gnabry.

But Tottenham restored parity seven minutes later through Ryan Sessegnon.

Thomas Mueller restored the lead for Tottenham in the 45th minute after benefiting from an assist by Alphonso Davies.

Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho however scored the winner for Bayern Munich in the 64th minute for the match to end 3-1.
