Nigeria vs Oman: Super Sand Eagles crash out of World Cup after defeat

- Nigeria vs Oman's Beach soccer World Cup game ended in 6-5 defeat for Sand Eagles

- The Super Sand Eagles have now been thrown out of the 2019 Beach soccer World Cup

- They have lost their first two games and will face Brazil in their final group game

Nigeria's Super Sand Eagles have crashed out of the 2019 FIFA World Cup after losing their second game of the tournament 6-5 against Oman on Sunday night, November 24.

But their performance against Oman was better than their first game which they lost 10-1 against Portugal.

Super Sand Eagles wanted to get a win against Oman in their second game which could have given them a chance ahead of their last match against Brazil.

The first period of this encounter ended 2-2 but Oman led 2-1 after the end of the second period before sealing the victory with a 2-2 scoreline after the third period.

And while speaking after Nigeria's defeat against Oman, Nigerian striker Victor Tale explained that luck worked against them in this championship.

''At times when something happen, we just have to sit down and look at what is happening. It’s just like the luck is not there.

''It’s not about the training, it’s just like something left us. The trust, the hope, the believe and everything.

''The confidence everything just went off even when we are still trying to but everything is just not coming,'' Victor Tale told Brila.

Meanwhile, Audu Ejo and his wards will face Brazil in their final group game at the 2019 FIFA Beach soccer in what will be a ceremonial game for Nigeria.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Abu Azeez, Nigeria's beach soccer captain, revealed that he bought his first set of boots with his late father's gratuity in 2005.
