Mike Tyson: Boxing legend praises Anthony Joshua ahead of Andy Ruiz rematch

- Mike Tyson has paid homage to Anthony Joshua ahead of his rematch bout

- Joshua will face Mexican champion Andy Ruiz in December to reclaim his WBA, IBF & WBO belts

- 53-year-old Tyson believes the British-Nigerian born pugilist ' has it all' but lacks knowledge of his potentials

Ahead of his boxing bout against Andy Ruiz in December, Anthony Joshua has courted another criticism to himself with boxing legend Mike Tyson positing the British-Nigerian born pugilist lacks knowledge of his potentials.

Tyson's comment came barely less than two months to his much anticipated fight against the Mexican champion Ruiz Jr slated for Saudi Arabia, Daily Star reports.

Joshua was deposed of his championship in heavyweight division after a shocking seventh round knockout defeat to Ruiz in June 2018, hence losing his WBA, IBF & WBO belts to the Mexican.

But in a close build-up to the rematch, Tyson who is the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title, claims he could help Joshua become the world heavyweight champion again, though admitting the Briton has a flaw.

“If I was training Joshua, Joshua would be. He has it all, he just doesn’t know it though,'' the 53-year-old boxing legend remarked.

“You have to know it. If a guy has it and doesn’t know it [what good is it]. A guy that doesn’t have it but doesn’t know that he doesn’t have it is going to do better. Isn’t that a trip?” Tyson said.
