BBNaija: Khafi says she is expected back at work as UK Metropolitan police officer

- Rumours of her sack began to spread after assumptions were made by viewers who said Khafi slept with fellow ex-housemate, Gedoni

Big Brother Naija star Khafi Kareem, who was evicted from the house on Sunday, September 15, has debunked rumours circulating that she would be sacked from her job for her participation in the reality show.

Khafi, who is a member of the United Kingdom Metropolitan police force, set the records straight, saying that she is expected back at work.

In an interview with Sahara Reporters, she said the authorities at the Metropolitan Police are expecting her back at her duty post. She revealed that she would be travelling back to the United Kingdom soon.

She said: “No action has been taken by the Met Police authorities yet. In fact, they are waiting for me to come back to work. I will travel back to the United Kingdom soon and we would talk about all these things.”

The rumours of her being sacked emerged after viewers of the reality show assumed that she had slept with her romantic partner in the house.

It was said that Khafi was seen as a mentor to young people and having intercourse on live TV was wrong for someone of her status.

However, both Gedoni and Khafi have denied ever sleeping together in the house.
