Denise Ajayi Williams is co-founder of Silicon Valley-Nigerian Economic Development Inc, which has been responsible for various human capacity training in the country.

The organisation has had the presence of prominent Nigerians like Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Mansur Dani Ali, the former minister of defense, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, among many others.

Apart from co-creating the Silicon Valley organisation, she also serves on board of three other companies which are Global Connection for Women Foundation, and Sky Clinic Connect.

Williams got BA degree in economics from the University of California, Riverside and had her MBA from Golden Gate University San Francisco.

It should be noted that Williams started her career at the young age of 23 working with companies like Gilead Sciences, Abbott Laboratories, Kaiser Permanente among others.

She has also received many international organisations US Senatorial Award, US Congressional Award for Outstanding Contributions from Congresswoman Barbara Lee.

Williams got the world’s attention when featured on Forbes Africa’s Top 30 Under 30 and has featured in media organisations Huffington Post, Black Enterprise, Thrive Global.

She uses her spare time to promote children education and has authored a young adult fiction titled, Akiti the Hunter.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, the acting chairperson of National Population Commission was elected as chairperson of African Union (AU)-African Population Experts Committee (APEC).

Salu-Hundeyin was elected on Tuesday, July 30, in Cairo at the ongoing “Third Ordinary Session of the Specialised Technical Committee on Health, Population and Drug Control (STC-HPDC-3) of African Union’s meeting.
