Naira Marley shares prison experience, vows to help other prisoners

- Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, recently regained his freedom on June 14, 2019, after being in prison for some time

- The singer has now vowed to help some of the other prisoners as he shares a bit of his prison experience on social media

- Naira Marley also explained that he cannot singlehandedly change Nigeria

Fast-rising singer, Naira Marley, spent some time in prison after his arrest on May 10, 2019, for alleged involvement in advance fee fraud and other cyber related crimes.

The singer was granted bail by the court and he seems to have met the conditions seeing as he was released from prison on Friday, June 14.

Soon after his release, the Issa Goal singer has started engaging with fans on social media. In a post shared on his Instastory, Marley shared some of the things he discovered in prison.

In the post, the singer vowed to help some of the other prisoners after hearing their stories. He explained that he met a guy who has been in prison for nine years but never been to court. He added that another guy was in prison because he was dating the daughter of a rich woman. See a screenshot of his post below:

In a subsequent post, Naira Marley explained that he cannot singlehandedly change the situation of things in the country but with joint effort, the change can happen.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng recently reported that veteran rapper, Ruggedman was attacked by hoodlums in London for his fight against cyber crime.

In the video that has been widely shared online, the restaurant he was in was turned upside down as chairs were flung around and at him by his attackers.

There have been many reactions about it online, with many connecting the attack to the recent release of Naira Marley, the Am I A Yahoo Boy crooner, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) whose act and music praise online fraud and encourages those in it.
