World economy: Top 15 countries with the most billionaires
According to the latest ranking by Wealth-X's 2019 Billionaire Census, the United States has the most billionaires in the world with 420 more people than China. In total, there are 705 billionaires in the US, 285 in China, 146 in Germany, 102 in Russia, and 97 in the UK.
The total worth of US billionaires is more than the billionaires of eight highest-ranking countries of China, Russia, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Hong Kong, India, and Saudi Arabia put together, Business Insider reports.

In all, there are 1,942 billionaires in the top 15 countries with the financial worth of $6.8 trillion, which accounts for 79 percent of total global billionaire wealth in 2018.
As at the time of writing this, Nigeria does not make the list. Perhaps, Nigeria could qualify when it has more billionaires as Aliko Dangote's present net worth ($10.2 billion) beats the richest men's financial worth in Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Canada, and India.
