Kylian Mbappe alongside PSG teammate Adrien Rabiot have been handed a heavy fine at the French Ligue 1 side for late coming ahead of a French Ligue 1 clash with Marseille in October 2018.

According to The Mirror citing AS, the French outfit have a standing rule to fine offenders £180,000 for lateness, and have slammed the 20-year-old Mbappe for not keeping to the schedule along with Rabiot.

Interestingly, the report claim that the belated financial fine may likely force Real Madrid to quicken their quest to sign the Frenchman, with Los Blancos chiefs still interested on the player.

The Frenchman is expected to face more deductions from his weekly wage of £290,000 if he complains.

Mbappe is likely to be sad with the fine and could see the Spanish giants’ move for the French forward in the summer.

Real Madrid’s quest to sign Mbappe recently was rejected as the forward maintained he prefers PSG, but could now seek any exit route.

Reacting moments after PSG were sent packing from the Champions League, Mbappe, who found it rough to hold back the tears says he believes on the PSG project.

"There are many people who doubt, but I will continue trusting in this project. I'll be here, that's for sure.

"With what has just happened, even before, I already knew."

Interestingly, the fines deducted from Mbappe and Rabiot will be hand over to PSG foundation, reports claim.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Kylian Mbappe revealed he has not been having sound sleep since Paris Saint-Germian were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.

Despite having a 2-0 lead at Old Trafford, the Ligue 1 outfit were kicked out by United courtesy of a Marcus Rashford's injury time penalty.

"I'm stunned. We'd worked so hard to get to this point.

"I haven't been able to sleep. I'm pretty sure it's been the same with everyone," Mbappe told French TV channel TF1.
